You might have struck gold with that crucial match ticket to the November 19 cricket World Cup final in Ahmedabad. You might have also made all the proper clicks (literally) to snag that cheap hotel or homestay offer. However, if you have not already purchased your plane ticket for the trip, you are most likely staring at a bomb!
While ordinary Bengaluru-Ahmedabad one-way prices start at Rs 5,700, a one-way ticket for the same route for Saturday, November 18, was going for Rs 33,000 as of Thursday evening.

With average one-way rates between Bengaluru and Ahmedabad hovering around Rs 30,000, IndiGo’s early morning and 7 p.m. departures were the lowest at Rs 26,999 as of Thursday, while the lone Akasa Air flight on Saturday had a one-way fare of Rs 28,778.
