Rain likely in Bengaluru for two more days | Bengaluru News – Times of India

BENGALURU: The city may see a generally cloudy sky, along with rainfall and thundershowers, during the next two days with maximum and minimum temperatures around 29 degrees and 21 degrees celsius.
Though the dark sky over the city on Wednesday evening indicated stormy weather, the drizzle did not turn into a downpour till late night. Elsewhere in the state, rainfall was reported from isolated places in coastal and south interior Karnataka. No station of the Indian Meteorological Department recorded heavy rainfall.
According to IMD, conditions are becoming favourable for further withdrawal of the southwest monsoon from remaining parts of North East India, entire North Bay of Bengal, remaining parts of West Bengal, some parts of central Bay of Bengal, remaining parts of Odisha, some parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, entire Goa, some parts of Karnataka, and some parts of the Arabian Sea around October 23. The north east monsoon is expected to bring rain over south peninsular India from October 26.
A cyclonic circulation over the south Tamil Nadu coast and neighbourhood and a trough from south interior Karnataka to south Tamil Nadu coast are expected to result in widespread rain from October 22-24 over coastal Karnataka.
While districts in north interior Karnataka are expected to remain dry for the next three days, scattered rainfall is expected in south interior Karnataka on October 21 and fairly widespread rain from October 22-24.
