Nine-member gang held for hacking rowdy to death in Bengaluru | Bengaluru News – Times of India

BENGALURU: Nine persons were arrested on Monday for allegedly murdering a 27-year-old rowdy at his rental house in LBS Nagar near HAL on June 7.
Srinivasa alias Pagal Seena alias Aravind was allegedly hacked to death by his old friend, Santosh, 26, and his associates Vijay, 24, Suresh, 21, Peter Kumar, 27, Lokesh, 23, Balasubramanyam, 29, Nawaz, 22, Dileep, 22 and Nyamat, 27, all residents of Banashankari and surrounding areas. Santosh was an associate of Seena for seven years. Seena was released from the jail two months ago and shifted to LBS Nagar 20 days prior to his murder. Santosh had differences with Seena as the latter ill treated his friends and used them to commit theft and robbery.
“Santosh also had enmity with another rowdy Ballari Shiva for murdering his friend Srinivas alias Stand Kutti a few years ago. Santosh was planning to eliminate Shiva. But Shiva’s brother Puneeth came to know of it and began looking for Santosh to kill him. Seena contacted Puneeth and assured him that he would eliminate Santosh and asked for Rs 10 lakh for the job. Santosh, who learnt about the development, rushed to Seena’s rental house with his associates and murdered him,” an investigating officer said.
HAL police have taken up a murder case.
