KSRTC to restart bus services from Mangaluru-Mumbai | Mangaluru News – Times of India


MANGALURU: Mangaluru division of KSRTC is all set to restart bus services on the niche Mangaluru-Mumbai sector from September 24. The division will operate multi-axle Volvo and non-AC sleeper buses on this route via Pune to Mumbai. Passengers will be allowed to travel as per the standard operating procedure laid down by the government in view of the pandemic.
The non-AC sleeper bus will depart Mangaluru at 12pm and operate via Surathkal, Mulki, Udupi, Kundapur, Bhatkal, Ankola, Belagavi, Poona and reach Mumbai at 7.30am the next day. The service on the return leg will depart Mumbai at 12pm and reach Mangaluru at 7.30am the next day. The fare is Rs 1,600. This is a new route that the Mangaluru division has introduced.
The multi-axle Volvo bus service will leave Mangaluru at 1pm and go via Padubidri, Karkala, Nitte, Belman, Shirva, Manchakal, Udupi, Kundapur, Bhatkal, Ankola, Belagavi, Poona and Mumbai as per the old route and reach Mumbai at 7am. The service will depart Mumbai at 1pm and reach Mangaluru at 7am. The fare is Rs 1800. For tickets, log on to www.ksrtc.in, KSRTC divisional controller, said.
