Karnataka: Woman killed by husband in farm in Chincholi taluk | Hubballi News – Times of India


KALABURAGI: A 30-year-old woman was killed by her husband at their farm in at Chennur village in Chincholi taluk on Thursday.
Manjula is the deceased. Manjula, was married to Satish for six years and the couple have two children. On Thursday afternoon, Manjula delivered lunch to her husband in their field, where they had a quarrel. Satish used to doubt Manjula’s fidelity. On Thursday, an enraged Satish attacked Manjula with an axe, and Manjula died after a while.
Satish fled the scene and is currently missing. On the same evening, Manjula’s father-in-law and brother-in-law went to the field because the couple had not returned home. At the field, they found Manjula lying in a pool of blood. They took her to the hospital, where she was declared dead.
Manjula’s brother Hemanth filed a complaint against her husband at Chincholi police station. Police are investigating the case and are looking out for Satish.
