Former AIDMK secretary VK Sasikala to be discharged on Sunday | Bengaluru News – Times of India


BENGALURU: Former AIDMK secretary VK Sasikala will be discharged from Victoria hospital on Sunday, a health bulletin issues by doctors from Victoria hospital said.
Sasikala was tested positive for Covid-19 on January 20, when she was prisoner with Central prison, Parappana Agrahara. First, she was shifted to Bowring hospital and then to Victoria. As she completed four years term of simple imprisonment, Sasikala was on January 27 released but was forced to stay back at the hospital. Her co-convict J Ilavarasi, who was also tested positive for Covid-19, is still under treatment.
“Sasikala Natarajan has completed 10 days of treatment today, she has been asymptomatic and maintaining saturation without oxygen since three days. As per protocol, she can be discharged from hospital. The team of doctors attending to her have taken decision that she is fit for discharge and she will be discharged on January 31 with advice of home quarantine,” the bulletin read.
