Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone on January 4 at CES. Although the company has not yet confirmed any details about the device officially, it has already been spotted several times on Samsung’s official website. Now, a known tipster who goes by the name Snoopy has spotted the device on Samsung’s Ireland website revealing the key specs and variants of the upcoming smartphone.
According to the listing on the official website, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be available in two variants. As per the listing, the variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will be priced at 769 Euros and the variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will be available at 839 Euros. The listings also reveal that the smartphone will be available in White and Olive colour options. As per previous reports, the device will be available in Graphite and Lavender colour options as well.
Recently, the smartphone sporting model number (SM-G990E/DS) was also spotted on Samsung’s UAE website. Now, a report by SamMobile has revealed new information about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. As per the report, the smartphone will ship with Android 12 based One UI 4.0 operating system.

The report further suggests that the device will likely be on the list of Samsung smartphones that will get three OS upgrades. This means that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will likely receive the Android 15 update. It is worth noting that the other smartphones in the Samsung Galaxy S21 series including Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy S21+ and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra were launched with Android 11 OS. The devices were also promised to get three OS upgrades, which means it’s likely that they won’t support Android 15.
Most of the specification and the images of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE have already been revealed in numerous leaks. According to previous reports, the smartphone will be available in both the Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100 variants based on the markets. The report further states that the Exynos 2100 comes with Mali G78 GPU, the Snapdragon 888 comes with Adreno 660 GPU.
The device is said to have a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is also said to have Corning Gorilla Glass layer and a center-positioned punch-hole selfie camera. The front side is also rumoured to have an in-display fingerprint scanner. As per the reports, the smartphone’s power and volume buttons are at the right side and the bottom side houses USB-C port and speakers.
When it comes to cameras, reports reveal that Samsung Galaxy S21 FE sports a triple camera setup at the back with a 64MP primary sensor paired with an ultra-wide sensor and a depth sensor. At the front, the device is said to have a 32MP camera for selfies and video calling. The reports also claim that the smartphone will feature a 4500mAh battery with support for 15W fast-charging.
