Google Nest Price in India: Google Pixel 4a, Nest Audio launched in India: Price, specs and more – Times of India
NEW DELHI: Google has announced India pricing of its most-affordable new Pixel series smartphone — Pixel 4a along with its latest-generation smart speaker Nest Audio. While the company announced Pixel 4a in August, Nest Audio was unveiled at a virtual event last month.Google also launched two other Pixel phones at its September event, Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5. Google is not launching these two Pixel phones in India.
Price and availability
Google has priced Google Pixel 4a at Rs 29,999 and Nest Audio at Rs 6,999. Both the devices will be available online on Flipkart starting October 16. The company has also confirmed that users will soon be able to purchase Nest Audio from retail outlets across the country.
Google Pixel 4a
Google Pixel 4a features a 5.81-inch FHD+ display with 1080×2340 pixel resolution. The display supports HDR and is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor paired with Adreno 618 GPU and Titan M security chip. The smartphone packs 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Google Pixel 4a runs Android 10 and comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The device bets big on camera and claims to offer a similar camera experience when compared to the Pixel 4, featuring HDR+ with dual exposure controls, Portrait Mode, Top Shot, Night Sight with astrophotography capabilities and fused video stabilisation. Google Pixel 4a sports a single-lens 12MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, LED flash, Dual PD autofocus, and 4k video recording support. There’s also an 8MP front camera with an ultra-wide lens.
Measuring 144x 69.4 x 8.2mm, the handset is backed by a 3140mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Google Nest Audio
The Google Nest Audio is powered by 1.8GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor and High-performance ML hardware engine. In terms of connectivity the device offers dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and it also has in-built Chromecast.
The company claims that the smart speaker can offer 50 percent stronger bass and is 75 percent louder in comparison to Google Home. The Nest Audio has 19 mm tweeter and 75 mm mid-woofer which the company has squeezed inside the enclosure made of 70 percent recycled plastic. The device also comes with a Media EQ feature which allows the smart speaker to automatically tune itself to whatever a user is listening.
The company has also incorporated three far-field microphones with a physical microphone mure switch and just like the original Google Home. The device also offers touch controls which can be used to adjust the volume.
