Rapido, the cab aggregator app, has launched cab services in Bengaluru, following the success of its services in Hyderabad.
Rapido, a two-wheeler aggregator platform, has introduced cab services in Bengaluru, only days after doing so in Hyderabad. Rapido, which began with autorickshaw services in 2021, today provides aggregator services in motorbikes, autorickshaws, and cabs while fighting a legal struggle in the Karnataka High Court.
While transportation department authorities verified that Rapido has sought for a cab service license, the app appears to have begun accepting bookings even before receiving one. On two occasions, when we booked rides on the app, the platform approved the bookings by assigning “captains” to the rides.
