A Bengaluru guy was detained after posting on social media, ‘Kill DK brothers’.

A private firm employee was arrested by Bengaluru police for allegedly posting a social media post asking people to kill Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar and his brother, Congress MP DK Suresh.

Ranjith R M, the accused, was detained on Wednesday after a report was submitted by Sharath, the Youth Congress President of Jayanagar Block in Bengaluru.

Ranjith, according to the lawsuit, posted on Facebook on October 4 inciting people to “kill DK brothers.” Ranjith claims on his Facebook profile to be a cybercrime detective with the Bengaluru city

police, however, it was later discovered that he works for a private firm.

Ranjith has also made some disparaging remarks on Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The case is being investigated further by the Jayanagar police.
