Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as part of his meditation routine, on Friday conducted ‘Surya Arghya’ during sunrise at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial here.
Modi performed ‘Surya Arghya,’ a spiritual practice ceremony that involved saluting the Almighty, who appeared in the shape of the sun, and praying with folded hands.
A short video clip titled ‘Sunrise, Surya Arghya, Spirituality,’ released by the BJP on its ‘X’ handle, shows the Prime Minister pouring small amounts of water into the sea as an offering (Arghya) and praying with his prayer beads (Japa mala).
