Prime Minister Modi Completes Meditation in Kanyakumari.

KANYAKUMARI (TAMIL NADU): Prime Minister Narendra Modi completed his 45-hour meditation at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial on Saturday and paid floral tributes to Tamil saint-poet Thiruvalluvar.

After his dhyan session, Modi, dressed in white, went to the 133-foot statue of Thiruvalluvar, which lies near the rock memorial, and deposited a large garland as an homage. He took a ferry to the statue complex and then used it to get to the shore.

During his stay at the memorial, the Prime Minister meditated and performed ‘Surya Arghya‘ at sunrise, a spiritual practice ceremony. Modi was dressed in saffron while sitting in meditation at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial.

Kanyakumari is noted for its sunrise and sunset, and the memorial is situated on a small islet near the shoreline. On the evening of May 30, the PM began his 45-hour meditation at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, which he concluded on Saturday.
