People magazine ranked Patrick Dempsey the Sexiest Man Alive.

He’s no longer just “McDreamy” anymore. Patrick Dempsey has been named the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine.

The “Grey’s Anatomy” star and race car driver succeeds “Captain America” star Chris Evans, who was chosen in 2022. The winner was announced on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Tuesday night.

Dempsey claims his three children will tease him about his People magazine choice and “pick on me and figure out every reason why I shouldn’t be.”

The People issue with Dempsey’s cover story will be available on Friday.

In honor of his late mother, he started the Dempsey Center, a Maine-based charity that provides care and support for cancer sufferers.

Dempsey rose to fame as Dr. Derek Shepherd – dubbed “McDreamy” – on “Grey’s Anatomy,” where he appeared in over 250 episodes.
