- Justice J S Khehar, former Chief Justice of India, for his contributions to the judiciary.
- Kumudini Lakhia, an eminent Kathak dancer, for her lifelong dedication to Indian classical dance.
- Dr. L Subramaniam, a globally acclaimed violinist, for his contributions to music.
- M T Vasudevan Nair (posthumous), an iconic director and writer, for his unparalleled influence on Indian cinema and literature.
- Osamu Suzuki (posthumous), former CEO of Suzuki Motor Corporation, for strengthening India-Japan relations through the automobile sector.
- Sharda Sinha (posthumous), a celebrated folk singer, for her invaluable contributions to Indian folk music.
