Padma Awards 2025: The Government of India has confirmed 7 Padma Vibhushan, 19 Padma Bhushan, and 113 Padma Shri awards this year Padma Awards 2025. The Government of India has recognized many people in fields such as Medical, Public Affairs, Art, Literature, Education, Trade, and industry.

We can see this year Padma Awards 2025 many people from different states such as Karnataka Assam Kerala have been nominated along with 2 NRI people who are located in Canada and the United States of America so these two people are the only people who will be awarded for their work in different fields out of our country

Padma Vibhushan: Recognizing Excellence

The Padma Vibhushan, India’s second-highest civilian award, has been conferred upon seven distinguished personalities. The recipients are:

  1. Dr. D Nageshwar Reddy, a renowned gastroenterologist, for his groundbreaking work in the medical field.
  2. Justice J S Khehar, former Chief Justice of India, for his contributions to the judiciary.
  3. Kumudini Lakhia, an eminent Kathak dancer, for her lifelong dedication to Indian classical dance.
  4. Dr. L Subramaniam, a globally acclaimed violinist, for his contributions to music.
  5. M T Vasudevan Nair (posthumous), an iconic director and writer, for his unparalleled influence on Indian cinema and literature.
  6. Osamu Suzuki (posthumous), former CEO of Suzuki Motor Corporation, for strengthening India-Japan relations through the automobile sector.
  7. Sharda Sinha (posthumous), a celebrated folk singer, for her invaluable contributions to Indian folk music.

Padma Bhushan: Honoring Distinguished Service

19 individuals have been awarded the Padma Bhushan for their outstanding achievements. The recipients represent diverse fields, including arts, science, social work, business, and public affairs.

Padma Shri: Celebrating Grassroots Talent

The Padma Shri, awarded to 113 individuals, celebrates achievements across various fields, including sports, literature, medicine, social work, and innovation.
