Oyo Rooms Hotel booking company has changed its check-in rules for its partner hotels and made new guidelines that will be coming into effect this year. These rules will not allow unmarried couples to stay in the Oyo rooms; only valid proof of the relationship couple can stay. According to a report on Sunday, they have initiated this rule for Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, and soon, they will apply it to other cities.
If you are booking a hotel in Oyo, you must provide valid proof of relationship during the offline and online booking. Oyo partner Hotels can decide whether to accept or decline the booking according to their local social sentiment.

As this new policy for hotel booking in Oyo will initiate and transform the outdated perception about its brand and make the travel journey a safe experience for all the families and students which will promote a longer stay and repeated booking, for now, the company has just started their testing if they get a good feedback from the initial Meerut city then they will expand this policy throughout the country.
