No prohibition on carpooling, get a license, says the transport minister for Karnataka
Ramalinga Reddy, the transport minister for Karnataka, stated on Monday that carpooling is not prohibited in Bengaluru but added that app aggregators must obtain licenses. After the Karnataka BJP questioned the prohibition, claiming that carpooling eases traffic in the city, Reddy provided clarification.
