NIA detains a Karnataka IS terrorist suspect upon arrival in Delhi from Nairobi

On Thursday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) apprehended a prominent fugitive Islamic State (IS) terrorist conspirator upon his arrival from Nairobi, Kenya, at the New Delhi Airport.

To combat misinformation, the Karnataka government has proposed a fact-checking unit.

In response to an FIR that the state government had filed, anchor Sudhir Chaudhary approached the Karnataka High Court.

Ali, a resident of the Shivamogga area of Karnataka, was actively involved in the identification, radicalization, and recruiting of impressionable Muslim youngsters into the ranks of ISIS while operating from abroad, according to NIA findings. (ANI)
