NEET Exam News: Congress requests CBI probe

MUMBAI: Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole asked on Tuesday that the Central Bureau of Investigation look into alleged unethical activities surrounding the NEET-UG medical admission exam.

Many students claimed that the exam’s marks had been inflated, therefore the National Testing Agency (NTA) stated last week that the Education Ministry will form a four-member panel to investigate the grace marks issued to more than 1,500 candidates.

“After the BJP took office, NEET was created, which has caused problems for students. It has become the epicenter of corruption. By instituting NEET, the Union government gained control of national examinations and admissions.

“It forced parents to pay higher fees for NEET tuition,” Patole told reporters in Mumbai.
