Morocco’s deadliest earthquake in 60 years claimed 2,000 lives Killed
The deadliest earthquake to strike Morocco in more than 60 years has claimed more than 2,000 lives. 2,059 individuals have been injured, 1,404 of whom are in serious condition, according to the Interior Ministry.

According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake’s epicenter was 72 km southwest of Marrakech’s ancient old city and had a magnitude of 6.8.
