Passenger counts at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport increased significantly in CY (Calendar Year) 2023. The airport served a total of 37.2 million passengers, a 35.3% increase over CY 2022. In 2023, the airport saw a considerable increase in passenger traffic, with 37.2 million passengers, 32.7 million of whom were domestic and 4.5 million who traveled to overseas locations. On April 29, the airport handled the most passengers in a single day in fiscal year 2023, with 116,688. This figure surpassed even pre-pandemic levels. Furthermore, the airport maintains its standing as a reliable hub for handling perishable (PER) goods in India for the third consecutive year.
