The Uttar Pradesh police claimed Thursday that they have detained six’sevadars’ from the organizing committee, including two women, in connection with the Hathras stampede, which killed 121 people.
The single culprit identified in the FIR is still at large, but preacher Surajpal, also known as Narayan Sakar Hari and Bhole Baba, would be questioned as needed during the probe, according to a senior official. ”
