‘G8’ and ‘9W’ airline codes are lost by Jet Airways, according to Go First.
Jet Airways’ code is now “9W,” whereas Go First has lost its airline code, “G8.” The cash-strapped airlines lost the codes given by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since they quit operating commercial flights, according to an IATA spokesperson.
