US Presidential hopeful Ramaswamy is asked by Eminem to stop utilizing his music.
According to a letter made public on Monday, rapper Eminem has requested Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, who is of Indian descent, to stop playing his music throughout his campaign. The 38-year-old internet entrepreneur gave an impromptu performance of “Lose Yourself” at the Iowa State Fair more than a week prior to writing the letter. The Ramaswamy campaign confirmed to CNN that it will abide by Eminem’s request.
The 38-year-old tech entrepreneur was at the epicenter of several of the most dramatic moments from last week’s first Republican primary debate.
Ramaswamy, a fierce supporter of former U.S. President Donald Trump, came under heavy fire from his more seasoned opponents, who seemed to see him as posing a greater threat than Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who has been trailing Trump by a significant margin in the Republican primary polls for a considerable amount of time.
