Bengaluru’s Central Crime Branch sleuths used sniffer dogs to perform surprise inspections
On Saturday, Bengaluru’s Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths used sniffer dogs to perform surprise inspections at buses coming into the city from neighboring states. The search operations were conducted as a result of CCB officers’ suspicions that many narcotics were being brought into the city from other states via public transportation.

“As part of our #warondrugs today early morning buses and other vehicles entering the city were checked thoroughly for any drug smuggling into the city,” Bengaluru police stated on the social media site X. Local CCB police officers took part in the initiative. Our drug-detection canines were also put to use.
