A techie has been arrested in Bengaluru for allegedly molesting a woman on a flight.
According to the allegation, the accused was sitting next to a 32-year-old woman from Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati who is also a techie in the United States. The guy allegedly placed his hand on the woman’s thigh as she fell asleep.
However, she removed it, and he allegedly placed his hand on her thigh again a few minutes later. The woman informed the airline’s cabin personnel, and she was given another seat on the trip.
Meanwhile, the accused claimed that he did not place his hand on purpose. A senior police official told the publication, “We arrested the accused and booked him on sexual harassment charges.” He stated that he did not do it consciously.
