Cong leaders and workers will do special pujas in Ram temples across the state on January 22. CM Siddaramaiah

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah confirmed on Friday that he would visit Ayodhya after January 22 whenever he had time to pay obeisance to Lord Ram, and that Congress leaders and workers will do special pujas in Ram temples across the state on that day. “I did not receive an invitation to the inauguration of the Rama temple (on January 22). We are not following them (BJP) to pay homage to Sri Rama.
We also worship Rama, but the BJP is politicizing the Rama temple issue. “We oppose their politics, not Sri Ramachandra,” he told reporters. The Chief Minister is currently at Shivamogga to unveil the government’s sixth pre-poll assurance, Yuvanidhi. (PTI Inputs)
