Arvind Kejriwal Back in Jail on Sunday as Court Postpones Judgment on Interim Bail.

NEW DELHI: Arvind Kejriwal, AAP convener, and Delhi Chief Minister, will return to Tihar Jail on Sunday after his three-week temporary freedom for the electoral campaign expired, as a court here postponed its decision on his appeal for interim reprieve on medical grounds till June 5.

According to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) sources, on June 2, the chief minister will visit Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial at Raj Ghat, the party office at DDU Marg, and a temple before traveling to Tihar Jail at about 3 p.m.

On Saturday, a day before his expected surrender, Kejriwal had an AAP Political Affairs Committee meeting at his home before attending an INDIA bloc meeting at Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s house.
