NEW DELHI: An IndiGo flight from Varanasi to the national capital got a bomb threat on Saturday, but all passengers safely disembarked after landing at the Delhi airport.
According to officials, the police determined that the call was a fake after conducting a comprehensive investigation.
According to a Delhi Police official, at approximately 5.38 p.m., a female caller notified the security staff of Delhi airport operator DIAL that her husband, who was flying from Varanasi to Delhi on an IndiGo flight, was carrying a bomb in his purse.
