Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, apologized today for his remark about population control, according to news agency ANI. ‘I apologize and withdraw my statements…,’ the Bihar CM is heard saying in the video.

On Tuesday, Bihar’s chief minister caused a controversy by emphasizing the need of female education in population control.
