A major factor influencing the redevelopment timeline is the ongoing Phase 2A metro line construction, expected to be completed by mid-2026. To avoid disruptions, the SPV will carry out redevelopment works only in sections where the metro work has already ended.

  • Out of the 17 km stretch, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has vacated about 12 km, starting from Lowry Junction at K.R. Puram.

  • The service roads on both sides of the ORR remain unoccupied, allowing work to commence immediately once tenders are finalized.
