Arvind Kejriwal’s Daughter Harshita Kejriwal Marries College Friend Sambhav Jain in Delhi
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s daughter, Harshita Kejriwal, tied the knot with her college friend Sambhav Jain on Friday, April 18. The private yet elegant wedding ceremony was held at the historic Kapurthala House in Delhi, which also serves as the official residence of the Punjab Chief Minister when in the national capital.
Harshita Kejriwal and Sambhav Jain met during their time at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. Both were students at the prestigious institution and their friendship gradually blossomed into love. Their wedding marked the culmination of years of companionship and shared aspirations.
The couple’s engagement had earlier taken place at Shangri-La Eros, a five-star hotel in Delhi, in the presence of close friends and family. The wedding ceremony was attended by select guests, including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, AAP Minister Gopal Rai, and popular Bollywood singer Mika Singh, who added a musical flair to the celebration.
Sambhav Jain, the groom, is currently working as a project management consultant for a private firm. In addition to his professional work, he and Harshita have also co-founded a health-tech startup named Basil Health, which aims to offer innovative solutions in the wellness space, as per media reports.
Harshita Kejriwal, the only daughter and eldest child of Arvind Kejriwal and Sunita Kejriwal, is a Chemical Engineering graduate from IIT Delhi. After graduating in 2018, she joined Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Gurugram as an Associate Consultant. Her younger brother, Pulkit Kejriwal, is also following in her footsteps and is currently pursuing his studies at IIT Delhi.
According to reports, a grand reception for Harshita Kejriwal and Sambhav Jain is likely to be held on April 20. The event is expected to witness the presence of several dignitaries, party leaders, and close friends of the Kejriwal family.
